A Distinctive Journey on a Private Adventure
Day 1: Cusco – Km 104 – Wiñay Huayna – Sun Gate – Aguas Calientes
Your private adventure will start with a 4:00 am pick-up from your hotel in Cusco, and then a scenic train at 6:10 am that takes you to Km 104. The trek will be 3 hours to the remote Inca site called Wiñay Huayna (2,650m), with magnificent views of the Inca Urubamba Canyon. You will continue privately to the Sun Gate (2,730m) to view our first incredible sighting of Machu Picchu. Dinner and overnight in Aguas Calientes.
Day 2: Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco
Enjoy riding the early private bus at 5:30 am to Machu Picchu, to see sunrise in peace. You'll see temples, terraces, and hidden places during your exclusive guided tour of the UNESCO World Heritage site. You'll have free time to explore, hike Huayna Picchu or the Sun Gate. After lunch on your own, the 4:22 pm train, to return, is a privately arranged train with other return options.
DAY 1: CUSCO – KM 104 – WIÑAY HUAYNA – SUN GATE – MACHU PICCHU.
With a compacted 2 days of excitement ahead, we will pick you up from your hotel at 4:00am and drive you to the Ollantaytambo train station for the 6:10am train (Expedition service). After an hour and ten minute scenic train ride to KM 104 (elevation 2,100m/6,927ft) we arrive at the place to begin our trek. At this point, we begin a moderate climb for three hours towards the chiseled remnants and remote archaeological site of Wiñay huana, 650m/8,747ft). Enjoy the spectacular plunging views of the Urubamba Canyon and the ethnic wonders of the ancient Inca sites, as you embrace them with an open mind and heart let your connection with the ancient Inca Trail will begin. After being at one with this beautiful sight, we will continue towards the Sun Gate. (2,730mts/9,007ft) Following the ancient remote footpath, we get our first spectacular view of Machu Picchu, in all its brilliance and majesty. As we move closer to the citadel of Machu Picchu, you will feel its mystical presence. Then, we will take our bus towards Aguas Calientes,
where we will spend the night in our hotel.

DAY 2: AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO
- Climb up Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain and appreciate the beauty and magnificence of Machu Picchu (must be booked in advanced and subject to availability)
- You will be given some time to walk to the Sun Gate (free of charge)
- Other optional activities in Aguas Calientes include a visit to the local museum or to the hot springs (entrance fees required)
