The appeal of the SHORT INCA TRAIL TREK is the stunning cultural show of Inca ruins, exotic side by side mountains, primitive lush vegetation and extraordinary
ecological varieties. The “ancient Inca road” goes through the national park and enters through the Sun Gate with unforgettable views ofMachu Picchu! We will pass through cloud pitted forests and finally into subtropical vegetation. People hiking the short Inca Trail Trek will have the privilege of visiting famous Machu Picchu Citadel twice! This trek was designed for those with little travel time that would like to experience a part of the Historic Inca Trail!
DAY 1: CUSCO – KM 104 – WIÑAY HUAYNA – SUN GATE – MACHU PICCHU.
Calientes, where you will spend the night in our hotel.

- Accommodation: Wiracocha Inn Hotel or Andean Terra Hotel.
- Difficulty: Moderate.
DAY 2: AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO.- Climb up Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain and appreciate the beauty and magnificence of Machu Picchu (must be booked in advance and subject to availability.)
- You will be given some time to walk to the Sun Gate (free of charge)
- Other activities in Aguas Calientes include a visit to the local museum or to the hot springs (entrance fees required and time permitting.)
